A two-vehicle crash on U.S. Hwy 61 near Southern Belle Truck Stop resulted in the death of 58-year-old Sharron Villere of Jackson shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17.

A former District 6 East Feliciana Parish Police Juror with 12 years of service, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014. He was 52-years-old and was a member of Pipefitters Local 198. Bubba was a Safety Manager with CB & I.
